At a gig in early November, saxaphonist Frank Corbi said to me "why don't we get together to record a little Christmas CD?". The next Friday we spent two and a half hours in my living room studio and voilą, we had a Christmas CD. Our choice was to stay close to the melodies which are so familiar to everyone. We didn't want to make abstract music out of holiday favorites.
These really are great songs that are reason enough to look forward to December every year. We hope our treatments of these will help you get into the holiday spirit.
